A special meeting of the Dent Civil Service Commission was
held on August 30, 1963. Present were Chairman Don Bell, Jr. ,
Harold Goedecke, Chief lee, and the Secretary.
The meeting was held to consider the late application of
Jack Maurice Hougardy for the position of Patrolman. After
considering &Ir. Hougardy's qualifications , it was decided to
allow him to take the examination with the reservation t=hat
he would have to raise his weight to 165 before he could be
considered for a permanent appointment.
