Al Johnson, Don Bell and R.L.Love were present. A motion was made that examinations for the position of patrolman on the Police Force of the City of Kent be held on December 7, 1955. The Secretary of the Civil Service Commission was ordered to prepare the examination and send out notices regarding it. Al Johnson moved that the Commislon petition the City Council of the City of Kent to increase the salaries of the Kent Policemen in order to attract and to keep men of good caliber on the Kent Police Force. Motion carried.
