The regular September meeting of the Civil Service Commission
was called to order by Commissioner Edline at 9:00 P.M.
Commissioners present were: Edline, Sells.
The Cheif Fxaminer announced that the examinations for the
position of Patrolman have been set for September 29th. This
date was approved by the Commission.
The Clerk was notified that the payroll of all members of the
Department, sub,ject to the Rules and Regulations of the Civil
Service Commission, must be certified to by the said
Commission, and that such certification, after carefulperusal,
will be his responsibility.
Commissioner Sells moved that James 0. Allread be the person
recognised and certified by the Civil Service Commission as
the�f of Police in and for the City of Kent. Commissioner
;,�.'"Fjjrman was then consulted by Long Distance Phone, and the
said Commissioner agreed to such certification.
The motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
