A special meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called
to order by Commissioner Edline.
Commissioners present were: Edline, Sells.
Commissioner Edline made a report of his findings on the
record of Thomas J. Best . The Commissioner stated that the
records of the Civil Service Commission of the City of Seattle
carried the following notation on Mr. Best :
"Unfitted for Police Department empIDoyment° .
Captain Batson, Personnel Director of the Seattle Police
Department, also reported Mr. Best as unfitted for police
work.
It was thereby moved and seconded that the Commission recommend
no certification to the appointing power.
The motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
