A special meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called
to order by Chairman Curtis Farman at 8:00 P.M.
Commissioners present were: Chairman Farman, Sells.
The purpose of this special meeting was to receive applications,
and to examine said applicants, for the office of Clerk a nd
Cheif Examiner.
There being only one applicant to make an apperanee, Mr.
Donals Sa.mnson, of the University Extension Division, proceeded
to conduct the examination.
The applicant, Harold T. Shay, on being examined, recorded a
grade of 94.01%, -nd on motion by Commissioner Sells that
said applicant be appointed Clerk and Cheif Examiner of the
Civil Service Commission of the City of Kent, and seconded
by Commissioner Farman, the motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
