January 23, 2002 MEETING MINUTES

Chair Zaratkiewicz called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.

A. Accept Into Record
1. Chair Zaratkiewicz moved to accept the minutes from the
January 2, 2002 Civil Service Meeting. Motion moved and seconded, motion
passed.
IV. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Accept into Record
Chair Zaratkiewicz asked those present to review items one through six.
1. 1. Memo from Police Chief Crawford notifying the Commission of the
appointment of Ron Price to the position of Police Lieutenant
effective January 16, 2002.
2. Memo from A/C Hamilton notifying the Commission that Mike
Richardson's appointment as Deputy Fire Marshal has ended and as of
January 2 he has returned to shift as Fire Fighter 1'* Class.

3. Memo from A/C Hamilton regarding the successful completion of the
Second Class Promotional Exams for Hollie Swanson. This promotion
is effective January 16, 2002.
4. Memo from A/C Hamilton notifying the Commission that Steve
Parson's appointment as Deputy Fire Marshal ended on January 2,
2002. He is returning to shift as Fire Fighter I" Class.
5. Memo from A/C Hamilton notifying the Commission that effective
January 31, 2002, Pat O'Hern's appointment as Training Officer will
end. He will return to Shift C.
6. Memo from A/C Hamilton notifying the Commission that Daniel
• Conroy's appointment as Fire Inspector ended on January 2, 2002.
He will return to shift as Fire Fighter 1'' Class.
Chair Zaratkiewicz made a motion to accept into record, as a block, items one
through six. Motion was moved and seconded, motion passes.
Chair Zaratkiewicz asked if there was any other business to come before the
Commission. Seeing none, a motion was made to adjourn. Motion was moved and
seconded, motion passes.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:18 p.m.
