In conjunction with the notice to proceed, please revise the contract scope as follows:
Project Schedule
Site Boundary and Topographic Surveys and Base Map Preparation (by City) - at NTP
Critical Areas Review (by City) - at NTP
Preliminary Geotechnical Report (by others) - withln-2--woeks-after-NTP City will provide
geotedmical data at NTP
Task 2 - Stream Simulation Technical Memorandum —Podl4 44aoeayy- &V9 after TS&L
Task 3 - Hydraulic Design Alternatives - after TS&L
Task 3 - Type, Size and Location memos - end of March, February 2019, highest priority
Task 4 - Preliminary Design Report and 30-percent Plans and Cost Estimate --eod-of-May_(rIjd
March, 2019
Task 5 - Zero-Rise Report - end of May 2019
Tasks
Task 1 - The City will develop the project kickoff meeting agenda Incorporating comments from
Otak however Otak will begin work upon NTP.
Task 2 •- The City will provide Geotechnical data from previous explorations In the surrounding
area for the TS&L, Since the vicinity Is relatively uniform In Its cross.-section we are looking for
a design that can be moved to where property negotiations and environmental permitting
dictate. please remove or modify the first paragraph In Task 2.1.
"ll 3.1 .• Second paragraph, three alternatives are not necessary„ please remove the word
I'three".
Task 3.2 - The City will provide the HEC-RAS model from the drainage master plan however It
will need to be updated with the proposed culvert sizes to make sure they are sufficiently sized.
Due to the flat grades and tallwater In this area of the valley, standard charts and Manaing's
equation will not give an accurate assessment of the flow volumes or needed culvert sizes.
Please modify or remove the last bullet point:"Else the Planning's equation to estimate the
velocities for the recommended flow rates and use those velocities to recommend materials for
the streambed and strearnbanks In the ditches and In the culverts
Task 3.3 - please limit initial anallysls to basic information needed for TS&L. Further, in-depth
analysis Is anticipated as the project progresses. No modification of this section is necessary
since the tasks state "'Topics may include".
Assumptions: Please remove the bridge option..

revisions.
