NOTICE OF RENT COMMENCEMENT DATE
Dear Water System Manager,
King County has entered into the Lease referenced above for the installation of a
communications facility at 12523 Southeast 2861h Place, Auburn, Washington, known to
City of Kent as the Joint Use 3.5 Million Tank. This letter is to establish the Rent
Commencement Date, and other important dates, referenced in the Lease.
Ding County hereby notifies City of Kent that King County has commenced construction of
the Improvements on the Premises on August 14, 2017 ("Rent Commencement. Date"),
pursuant to Section 3.a of the Lease. However, in accordance with Section 3.g of the
Lease, City of Kent has agreed to waive King County's obligation to pay Bent until the first
anniversary of the Rent Commencement Date, which is August 14, 2018.
Other important dates of the Lease to note, and the Sections of the Lease they are
referenced, include:
Lease Effective Date (Section 35): July 27, 2017
Term Commencement Date (Section 2): August 14, 2017
Expiration of 25-year Term (Section 2): July 31, 2042
Please return one copy of this letter to me via certified mail, signed and dated by a City
of Kent authorized representative in the space provided below, within ten (10) business
days of receipt, acknowledging the Rent Commencement Date and the other key dates
referenced in this letter.
