("the Consultant"). This scope contains a new Task 4, "On-call Structural Consulting", which is intended to be carried out during 2017 in parallel with the design of the project. I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES Refer to the scope of work for the original contract, "S. 228th Street UPRR Grade Separation Value Engineering Study". 11. PROJECT SCHEDULE The Project schedule will be based on a mutual agreement between the City and the Consultant for each specific task. III. TASK DESCRIPTION Task 4 — On-call structural consulting: The Consultant shall assist the City by providing on-call structural consulting services for structural aspects of the project including the bridge, abutments, fill, wall design, infrastructure pipe (storm, sewer, conduit, etc.), loading, and others as requested. To complete this task, the Consultant shall review design documents, respond to emails, and be available for meetings and phone cgnferencing. Assumptions: 1. The City will provide the background information needed by the Consultant to perform the task. 2. A total of two meetings at the City. 3. Level of effort for this task is limited to the total budget for the task. Deliverables: 1. Structural opinions and recommendations from the Consultant will be documented via emails.
