We understand that the pump motor has failed and pump bowls have reached the end of their anticipated service life. We understand that the City wishes to replace the failed equip- ment with a new equivalent and has provided us with specifications and model numbers where appropriate. We further understand that the City has no desire to change pump capacity, motor type or voltage, or any other operational parameter. Should such a change be-required,- it may require calculations and/or review by an engineer, which is outside this scope of services. As we understand the required scope, the City requires assistance in preparing a bidder's list for the following new, undamaged items to be provided and installed: 1. Submersible pump motor 2. Submersible pump with inlet screen 3. Pump column 4. Electrical conductors 5. PVC sounding tubes We will catalog the existing equipment and prepare an itemized bidder's list that includes the bid item and specifications. The documentation will also include a diagram of the well and the contractor qualification criteria. This will be incorporated into the City's standard bid package and provided to the City for review not later than Friday, November 11, We understand that time is of the essence and will commit our staff as required to accomplish the scope within the City's timeframe. Service Proposal Based on our understanding of the project and the conditions outlined in this scope, the cost of our services, as described above, will not exceed$2,500, Robinson Noble works on a time-and- expense basis according to the attached General Fee Schedule. This quote will remain valid for 90 days from the date of this scope. As a cost-savings measure for our clients, each Robinson Noble employee charges their time on a project according to the level of expertise required for a given task (i.e., employees may have more than one billing rate). This allows us to make use of our more experienced staff without unduly impacting project costs, but also means that our clients only pay for the level of expertise applied. 2105 South C Street 17625 1300 Avenue NE,Suite 102 Tacoma,Washington 98402 www.robin son-no b Ia.aom Woodinville,Washington 88072 P:253,475,77111 F:253.472.5846 P:425.488.05991 F:425,488.2330 II Bryan Bond, Engineering Project Coordinator November 8, 2016 Page 2 We hope this scope of work and cost estimate is adequate for your needs.
