The trail will connect the Green River Trail at the south end of the Green River Natural Resources Area, on the west end,with the Interurban Trail at approximately S. 218th St, on the east end. This multi-use trail will include trail lighting, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons with marked crosswalks installed where it crosses mid-blo k on 64th, and 72nd Ave, with a pedestrian signal installed on 68th Ave (SR 181). The signal will include a camera for monitoring and controls for bicyclists and pedestrians. Should some existing utility structures be encountered, sufficient room exists to move the trail in order to avoid conflict. Minor adjustment to the rims of existing underground structures is expected. Placement location for the traffic signal pole and flashing beacon bases can be adjusted to avoid possible conflicts with and existing structures.
