I just got home, 11.30 PM on a Saturday, and noticed all the B blg parking lot lights are out as are all the A blg porch lights. I didn't go check to see if their parking lot lights were out as well, but I suspect they are. This really concerns me because it is very dark now without the lights, and it is over an entire weekend, a great opportunity for more breakins Would you please contact the City of Kent and let them know this is not acceptable to allow this to happen, risking the safety and security of our property, cars, and homes, not to mention the residents, especially given our history of previous break ins and vandalism experienced here. It is imperitive that they provide temporary lighting for us until they have completed the electrical work they are currently working on. Personally, it grieves me to think they have such low regard for our safety by this oversite. I just hope we get through the weekend without any criminal activity due to the prime setting of darkness out there 4 Thanks, Gayle, for taking care of this. I Could you please find out when they anticipate being able to complete the lighting project. And more importantly, ask them to please do whatever is necessary to turn the power back on so our other lights are on during the night time? Both A and B parking lights have been out since Friday, and A Bldg porch lights have also been out. This is not I i a safe situation, given all the vandalism reported here over the past year. 3 I have contacted the police the past couple nights to increase patrolling around here until this is resolved, and will do so again tonight and until there is resolution. Thanks, Gayle.
