The City subcontracted with a housing developer, Habitat for Humanity of Seattle/South King County, to purchase and rehabilitate three (3) foreclosed residential properties on the East Hill of Kent. The houses were sold to three low/moderate- income families who were waiting for large homes. The City has targeted the East Hill of Kent for revitalization and foresees long-term development and investment in this area.
