FIRST ADDENDUM TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN KING COUNTY AND THE CITY OF KENT FOR THE TRANSFER
OF DRAINAGE FACILITIES AND PROPERTY INTERESTS
This First Addendum to Interlocal Agreement is by and between King County and the City
of Kent ("First Addendum") and is authorized by that certain Interlocal Agreement by and
between King County and the City of Kent for the Transfer of Drainage Facilities and
Property Interests, dated February 2, 2010 ("ILA").
A. Pursuant to the terms of the ILA, this First Addendum conveys the surface water
drainage facilities and surface water drainage real property interests located within the
Panther Lake Annexation Area from King County to the City of Kent Such annexation,
effective on July 1, 2010, removed the Panther Lake Annexation Area from the surface
water regulatory jurisdiction of King County and placed it within the jurisdiction of the
City of Kent.
B. King County hereby transfers, and the City of Kent hereby accepts, effective, July 1,
2010, the drainage facilities identified in Nos 1 below, in accordance with the terms of the
ILA and its Exhibits
C. King County shall convey by Quitclaim Deed, a copy of the form of which is Exhibit 2
to the ILA, and the City of Kent agrees to accept by such Quitclaim Deed, the real property
interests mdentified in Nos 2-6 below, in accordance with the terms of the ILA and its
Exhibits. Such Quitclaim deed shall be delivered by King County to the City of Kent
within 30 days of the execution of this First Addendum.
D. The surface water drainage facilities and real property interests conveyed by this First
Addendum include the following:
