RE: Officer Crawford Shift Change
Dear Ms. Hoang:
As you are aware our contract provides that once Correction Officers' shift assignments are
made during the bid process that shift assignment shall not be changed. Corrections Officer
Crawford has agreed to his shift being changed during what would normally not be an acceptable
• period. We believe that this is in the best interest of both Officer Crawford and the City. We are
waiving our objection to the violation of the Contract in this case on a non-precedent setting
basis We are reserving our nght to grieve such occurrences in the future.
