Viseth Department: ES Detail: (i.e. address, location, parcel number, tax id, etc.): S Pub lic\RecordsManagement\Forms\ContractCover\adcc7832 1 11/08 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF KENT (CITY) AND WASHINGTON STATE COUNCIL OF COUNTY AND CITY EMPLOYEES, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, LOCAL#2617 (UNION) By signature below the parties agree to the following reorganization in the Finance Department to be effective January 1, 2003 This memorandum of understanding is entered into by the City and the Union only upon concurring agreement with the employees affected (noted by signature below) and shall not serve as precedent for any other matter This agreement is based on the unique circumstances involved in this matter and shall not serve to provide for any clarification of intent related to any contract provision. • The existing Financial Analyst position (Ada Gillisse's regular position) shall be reclassified to a Senior Financial Analyst position • The existing Financial Services Supervisor position (Tammy McQueeney's regular position) shall remain as Financial Services Supervisor • Upon Tammy McQueeney's return from rotation, she shall be placed in the Senior Financial Analyst position and Ada Gillesse shall be placed in the Financial Services Supervisor position (converted from her current acting capacity) • • This shall not be interpreted to be a violation of any of the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement based on the special circumstances of this situation By signature below, all parties agree with the provisions of this agreement.
