Viseth Department: ES Detail: (i.e. address, location, parcel number, tax id, etc.): 5 Publlc\RecordsManagement\Forms\ContractCover\adcc7832 1 11/08 s • MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING By and Between The City of Kent and AFSCME Local 21-K An Addendum to the existing collective bargaining Agreement between the parties, for the purposes of including the Clerical and Accounting Support staff in the Engineering Division of Public Works as represented employees, per the Public Employees Relations Commission decision dated March 20, 1996. It is agreed between the parties, as denoted by signatures below, that the following terms and conditions shall prevail 1. The classifications, current incumbents and salary ranges for the affected employees identified in the PERC decision are Accounting Technician Jan Storment Range 25 Accounting Services Assistant III Donna Palmer Range 22 Permit/Bond Specialist Janet Bearson Range 25 Office Technician III Teresa Baim Range 20 Administrative Secretary I Deanna Lee Range 20 • 2. The Classifications of Office Technician III and Permit/Bond Specialist are hereby considered included in the current "Schedule A" of the 1995-97 Labor Agreement. 3. The affected employees are identified as currently working alternative work schedules of 9/80s, with the following day off. Jan Storment and Donna Palmer have alternate Mondays off, Teresa Baim has Monday off, and Jan Bearson and Deanna Lee have alternate Fridays off 4. For the purposes of compensatory time accruals, it is understood that the Engineering Division of Public Works will be allowed compensatory time accruals in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with a maximum accrual of eighty (80) hours 5. The affected employees shall begin utilization of the Holiday Leave Bank in accordance with the February 1 , 1996 Memorandum of Understanding beginning June 1, 1996 6.
