RE: UNIT CLARIFICATION - SIDE LETTER AGREEMENT
Dear Tammy:
This letter follows the agreement reached last week during our labor management meeting.
The parties mutually agree that the following positions will be exempted from the union effective
January 1, 1995:
POSITION DEPT. INCUMBENT
Assistant Finance Director Finance John Hillman
Administrative Assistant III Planning Margaret Porter
Administrative Assistant 11 Operations Kelli O'Donnell
In addition,the parties mutually agree that the City will voluntarily recognize the following positions
as represented by the union effective January 1, 1995:
POSITION DEPT. INCUMBENT
Custodial Lead Finance Cindy Jones
Custodian I Finance Dick Armeni
Custodian I Finance Sharon Adams
Custodian I Finance Lorena Hamilton
A new position of Custodial Supervisor, salary range of AF29 is also created to be filled through a
promotional process available to all custodial classifications within the AFSCME bargaining unit.
Upon filling the Custodial Supervisor position,the resulting vacant custodial position will be deleted
from the budget.
The parties further agree that the newly exempted position of Administrative Assistant II, held by
• Kelli O'Donnell, will receive retroactive pay to February 1, 1994 as a result of a recent
reclassification.
