FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the delivery of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($75,000.00), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned, authorized representative
of the City of Kent, a Washington municipal corporation("City"), does hereby release and forever
discharge GeoEngmeers, Inc ("GeoEngmeers") from all claims, demands, damages or causes of
action, ansmg from or connected with any work performed relating to the settlement of Pier 1 due
to causes or factors known as of the date of this release of claims, on a City project known as the
277`h Street Corridor Green River Bridge.
IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS IS A FULL AND FINAL RELEASE, and full
compromise and settlement of any and all claims of every nature and kind, known or unknown,
suspected or unsuspected, involving the parties named above ansmg from or connected with the n
settlement of Pier 1 due to causes or factors known as of the date of this release of claims It is
further agreed that this is not an admission of liability on the part of the settling parties, but rather
a compromise, the express purpose of which is to preclude any additional claims and to avoid the
uncertainties of claim disputes and litigation.
THIS RELEASE is being executed after having had an opportunity to consult with an
attorney The undersigned states that this Release has been carefully read and is signed as that
person's free act and deed This release will become effective on the last date entered below.
