This Change Order amends the above-referenced contract; all other provisions of the contract that are
not inconsistent with this Change Order shall remain in effect. For valuable consideration and by mutual
consent of the parties, the project contract is modified as follows:
1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled "Description of Work," is hereby modified as follows:

Pursuant to Section XIII, entitled "Miscellaneous Provisions," of the Contract executed by the parties,
the Contractor accepts all requirements of this Change Order by signing below. Also, pursuant to the above-
referenced contract, Contractor agrees to waive any protest it may have regarding this Change Order and
acknowledges and accepts that this Change Order constitutes final settlement of all claims of any kind or nature
arising from or connected with any work either covered or affected by this Change Order, including, without
limitation, claims related to contract time, contract acceleration, onsite or home office overhead, or lost profits.
The parties whose names appear below swear under penalty of perjury that they are authorized to enter
into this contract modification, which is binding on the parties of this contract.
3. The Contractor will adjust the amount of its performance bond (if any) for this project to be
consistent with the revised contract sum shown in section 2, above.

ATTACHMENT A: 2"D SCOPE OF EXTRA SERVICES
PROJECT STATUS AND UNDERSTANDING
DC has conducted a wetland determination and prepared permit documents for local, state, and
federal permits for the Lake Meridian Boat Launch upgrade project Additional services have been
provided to respond to the City of Kent's request for large scale drawings for the project and for the
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) requirement that additional mitigation will
be required prior to issuance of the Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) by WDFW The additional
services and expenses and associated costs are described below.
PROPOSED EXTRA SCOPE OF SERVICES
Task 4E: Additional Client and Agency Coordination
Task 4E includes additional coordination with the Client, City of Kent, and WDFW to respond to the
requests for large scale project drawings and additional mitigation to obtain WDFW approval of the
EPA One on-site meeting is included in this task to meet with the Client, City of Kent Public
Works, and WDFW to discuss potential additional mitigation to be provided Preparation of a
memoradum describing the additional mitigation is also included in this task One meeting with
City of Kent planning staff is also included for the additional submittal of large scale drawings
Additional Expenses
Additional expenses include reproduction of the large scale project drawings, mileage to meetings,
and similar project associated expenses
FEES AND SCHEDULE
For the preceding Scope of Services,DC proposes to be compensated on a time and expense basis at the
rate of$100 00 per hour The level of effort provided to complete the tasks is shown as numbers of
hours in the Costs table, below Monthly invoices will be sent and are due upon receipt
