This Change Order amends the above-referenced contract; all other provisions of the contract that are
not inconsistent with this Change Order shall remain in effect For valuable consideration and by mutual
consent of the parties, the project contract is modified as follows:
1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled"Description of Work,"is hereby modified as follows.
Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to:
Consultant to coordinate extra services required for permit support by
Berger/Abaco and Douglass Consulting, Inc. for the Riverview Park project in
Kent, Washington as described in the Consultant's proposal dated May 24, 2007
and approved by the Project Manager 5/29/07 attached and incorporated as
Exhibit A.
2. The contract amount and time for performance provisions of Section II "Compensation," and
Section III, "Time for Completion,"are hereby modified as follows:

Pursuant to Section XIII, entitled "Miscellaneous Provisions," of the Contract executed by the parties,
the Contractor accepts all requirements of this Change Order by signing below Also pursuant to the above
referenced contract, Contractor agrees to waive any protest it may have regarding this Change Order and
acknowledges and accepts that this Change Order constitutes final settlement of all claims of any kind or nature
arising from or connected with any work either covered or affected by this Change Order, including, without
limitation, claims related to contract time, contract acceleration, onsite or home office overhead,or lost profits.
The parties whose names appear below swear under penalty of perjury that they are authorized to enter
into this contract modification, which is binding on the parties of this contract.
3. The Contractor will adjust the amount of its performance bond (if any) for this project to be
consistent with the revised contract sum shown in section 2, above.

services and expenses for conducting client/agency coordination and preparing large scale
documents for Riverview Park, located in Kent, Washington

ATTACHMENCA: 2ND SCOPE OFEXTRA SERVICES
PROPOSED 2ND SCOPE OF EXTRA SERVICES
2nd Additional Task 4: Extra Client and Agency Coordination
Under the original and second Extra Services Task 4, DC completed an on-site all agency meeting
with agenda and follow-up notes, one meeting with City of Kent planning staff to submit the City of
Kent permit applications, and coordination with all agencies including: USACE, WDOE, WDFW,
DNR, and City of Kent during the permit application review process.
The 2"d Additional Task 4 includes additional coordination with the Client and agencies to prepare
and deliver the oversized drawings for the City of Kent permit applications. The 2nd Additional Task
4 also included additional coordination with the USACE regarding the Biological Assessment for the
project and preparing a memorandum responding to USFWS and NOAA Fisheries questions
regarding the Biological Assessment.
Additional Expenses
Additional Expenses include reproduction of project drawings in large-scale format for the City of
Kent permit applications.
FEES AND SCHEDULE
For the preceding 2"d Scope of Extra Services, DC proposes to be compensated on a time and expense
basis at the rate of$90.00 per hour. The level of effort estimated to complete the tasks is shown as
numbers of hours in the Estimate of Costs table, below. Monthly invoices will be sent and are due
upon receipt.
