This Change Order amends the above-referenced contract; all other provisions of the contract that are
not inconsistent with this Change Order shall remain in effect. For valuable consideration and by mutual
consent of the parties, the project contract is modified as follows:
1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled "Description of Work," is hereby modified as follows:
Additional services necessary to conduct wetland delineations on a 16-acre parcel
proposed for a Kent Event Center and prepare a wetland report based on
Consultant's findings in accordance with the February 2, 2008, Scope of Work,
attached and incorporated as Exhibit A.
2. The contract amount and time for performance provisions of Section II "Compensation," and
Section III, "Time for Completion," are hereby modified as follows:

• Pursuant to Section F.Modification. No waiver, alteration, or modification of any of the provisions of
this Agreement shall be binding unless in waiting and signed by a duly authorized representative of the City and
Consultant, entitled "Changes," of the Contract executed by the parties, the Contractor accepts all requirements
of this Change Order by signing below. Also, pursuant to the above-referenced contract, Contractor agrees to
waive any protest it may have regarding this Change Order and acknowledges and accepts that this Change
Order constitutes final settlement of all claims of any kind or nature arising from or connected with any work
either covered or affected by this Change Order, including, without limitation, claims related to contract time,
•contract acceleration, onsite or home office overhead, or lost profits
The parties whose names appear below swear under penalty of perjury that they are authorized to enter
into this contract modification, which is binding on the parties of this contract.
3. The Contractor will adjust the amount of its performance bond (if any) for this project to be
consistent with the revised contract sum shown in section 2, above.

RE: Site Investigation Scope Addendum—Kent Event Center, City of Kent,
Washington
Dear Teri:
ESA Adolfson (Adolfson)is pleased to present this scope of work addendum to City of Kent Planning Services
(City) for services in support of a site investigation at the proposed Kent Event Center site in the City of Kent,
Washington. Adolfson's original scope letter for this project,dated September 19,2006,cort=s a total cost
estimate of$6,000. We were requested by the City to perform work outside of our original scope; therefore,the
final total cost of our services was$7,369.27 The purpose of this scope addendum is to describe the out-of-scope
work that was performed
• Task 3—Attend meetings with project te2lm,and collect background information
From October 3"r to the 20th,2006,Adolfson scientists were requested to attend three meetings with the project
team. Each meeting lasted approximately four hours,including travel time. In addition,Adolfson was requested to
travel to the Walker-Aero Metric office in Tukwila to view historical aerial photos of the Events Center property.
Cost Estimate
Completing the task listed above caused us to exceed our original scope by$1,369.27. The City has already paid
this amount in full,including original scope estimate of$6,000.
