Based on this information, that Honeywell is essentially a sole source,
and that all budgeted funds will be applied only to this project, I
would consider this (barely) adequate evidence of council approval.

The vendor is not listed but we have only used Honeywell for this. All of the money will be
used for card access. Whatever is left this year will roll into next year as I attempt to do
another building.

Does it list the vendor? Will you be using any of this budgeted
item for other purposes, or is this just a single purpose line
item?

It is listed in the capital budget as our Facilities Access Project with $100,000
approved for the Centennial Center for the budget year 2005. The cost of the
project is going to be dose to$100,000.

Subject: Access Controls
Tom,
I am ready to move forward with adding access controls to the remainder of
the Centennial Center. I have a budget for this and will be adding these to
our existing system.
Is there anything that I need to do with the City Council prior to contracting
with Honeywell and getting the work completed?
