THIS ADDENDUM between MELVIN HAROLD AND KAREN JOYCE
LAKE, ("Seller") and the CITY OF KENT ("Buyer"), a Washington municipal
corporation, amends that certain Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement entered into
between Seller and Buyer on or about July 21, 2004(the"Agreement").
The Seller and Buyer agree as follows:
1. The Closing date shall be extended to October 15, 2004.
2. Per section 11 of the Agreement, the legal description for the Seller's real
property attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated herein shall be used to describe the real
property that will benefit from the ingress,egress, and utilities easement being reserved.
3. Except as amended by this addendum, all provisions of the Agreement
shall remain in full force and effect except as specifically modified by this Addendum.
4. Facsimile signatures on this Addendum will be considered originals.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Addendum

ADDENDUM ONE TO REAL ESTATE
PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT- 1 (October 1,2004)
(between Lake and City of Kent)
That portion of Lot 2, King County Short Plat Number 674032,
recorded under Recording Number 7708030801, said short plat being a
portion of the east half of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 21, Township 22 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in
King County, Washington, lying south of a line parallel to and 949
feet south of north line of said northeast quarter;
EXCEPT the westerly 330 feet of the south 55 feet of said Lot 2;
TOGETHER WTH the south 110 feet of the east 135 feet of that portion
of Lot 2, of said King County Short Plat Number 6740432, recorded
under Recording Number 7708030801, lying north of a line parallel to
and 949 feet south of north line of the northeast quarter of said
Section;
TOGETHER WITH an easement for ingress, egress and utilities, over
the east 30 feet of Lot 2 of said short plat, lying north of a line
parallel to and 949 feet south of the north line of the northeast
quarter of said Section;
EXCEPT the south 110 feet of the east 135 feet thereof.
