This Change Order shall only affect the terms indicated herein All other Contract provisions, which are not
inconsistent with this Change Order, shall remain in effect For valuable consideration and by mutual
consent of the parties, the modifications to the Contract are as follows
SCOPE OF CHANGE ORDER Attendance at planing meetings as required for design of the
Restroom/Shelter for the East Hill Youth Sports Complex and further described in Exhibit A
(attached)

Pursuant to Section 11 "Modification" of the contract executed by the City of Kent May 11, 2001, the
Consultant accepts all requirements of this Change Order by signing where indicated below Also,
pursuant to the above-referenced contract provisions, Consultant agrees to waive any protest it may
have regarding this Change Order and acknowledges and accepts that this Change Order
constitutes full payment and final settlement of all claims of any kind or nature arising from or
connected with any work either covered or affected by this Change Order, including, without
limitation, claims related to contract time, onsite or home office overhead, or lost profits
The parties whose names appear below swear under penalty of pequry that they are authorized to
enter into a contract modification that is binding on the parties of this contract.

This letter is in response to the new project schedule for the ERYSC restroom/shelter building U
As we discussed, my firm will incur additional time spent in meetings as a result of the site redesign
and the establishment of the project schedule My original proposal had only indicated 7 hours for
meetings during the design period To date, we have had 24 hours of meetings Further,based on the
meeting schedule from the City on the remainder of the project,I would project an additional 24 hours
of meetings As this is above our scope of work on the project,you had indicated you would be willing
to review this request for additional services M

I have attached a spreadsheet showing the breakdown of additional services,indicating the xx
time and costs for your review If you have any questions or concerns, I would be glad to meet with you w
to discuss them The total requested additional fee for previous meetings is$2,520 The total
