November 17 , 1998
A special meeting between the Kent City Council and the
Kent School District was held at 5 : 30 p .m. Present : Mayor
White, Councilmembers Amodt, Brotherton, Clark, Epperly,
Orr and Woods .
School District Consultant Dave Willard of Northfield,
Illinois, described his company and explained that they are
gathering input to be used in the search for a new
superintendent for the Kent School District . He explained
the process and noted that a report will be presented to
the School Board on December 2na
Willard and the Councilmembers discussed surveys which had
been distributed prior to the meeting, as well as other
subjects including the traits needed in a superintendent,
issues the Council feels are important , characteristics of
the school district and funding.
The meeting adjourned at 6 : 30 p.m.
