A special meeting of the Kent City Council was called to
order at 9 : 00 a.m. Proper legal notice of the meeting has
been given.
Present: Councilmembers Biteman, Kelleher, White and Woods,
and City Attorney DiJulio. Councilmembers Bailey, Leahy and
Johnson were absent.
j CITY OF KENT WOODS MOVED to appoint Kelleher Mayor Pro Tem.
ECONOMIC White seconded and the motion carried.
DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION Public Hearing - Northwest Aluminum Products ,
Inc . Application. Northwest Aluminum Products ,
Inc . has applied for Industrial Development
Bond financing through the City of Kent Economic
Development Corporation. Federal Income Tax
requirements relating to the bond issue requires
that a public hearing be held on the proposed
issue of Industrial Development Bonds. Public
notice of this hearing has been given by the
City Clerk.
Kelleher opened the public hearing. There
were no comments and no correspondence and
BITFMAN MOVED to close the public hearing.
White seconded. Motion carried .
DiJulio noted that no further action was
required .
H & H Company (Continental Mills, Leasee)
Application - Financing Approval - Resolution.
Resolution 1045 has been prepared and is
entitled :
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, approving
the issuance of an industrial development
bond by the City of Kent Economic Develop-
ment Corporation for 1 . 2 million dollars
and approving Resolution 1984-14 of the
City of Kent Economic Development Corpor-
ation authorizing_ the sale of a bond to
provide funds to finance certain industrial
development facilities for H & H Company,

ECONOMIC matters; approving execution and
DEVELOPMENT delivery by the City of Kent
CORPORATION Economic Development Corporation
of a Bond Agreement dated as of
December 1 , 1984 .
BITEMAN MOVED to adopt Resolution No. 1045 .
Woods seconded and the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT WOODS MOVED to adjourn the meeting at 9 : 10 a.m.
Biteman seconded and the motion carried.
