March 5, 1984
The regular meeting of the Kent City Council was called to
order at 7: 00 p.m. by Mayor Hogan. Present: Mayor Hogan,
Councilmembers Johnson, Leahy and Woods, City Attorney
DiJulio, Planning Director Harris, Public Works Director
Wickstrom and Assistant City Administrator, Webby. 18 citizens
were in attendance. Councilmembers Bailey, Biteman, Kelleher
and White were absent.
Mayor Hogan noted that no meeting would be held, as the
Council attendance did not constitute a quorum. She then
called for a special meeting of the City Council to be
held on Thursday, March 8 at 7 : 00 p.m. to cover all of the
material on the March 5 printed agenda, with the exception
of the public hearing on the Transportation Plan. The special
meeting will also include an executive session regarding labor
relations . The list of agenda items is attached.
Following the special Council meeting, the previously scheduled
workshop on the West Hill Plan will be conducted.
The next public hearing on the Transportation Plan will be
conducted at the next regular meeting of the Council on March
19 , at 7 : 00 p.m.
