October 25, 1982
A special meetinq of the Kent City Council was called to order
at 9 : 00 o'clock p.m. by Mayor Hogan. Present: Mayor Hogan,
Councilpersons Bailey, Biteman, B . Johnson, J. Johnson, Kelleher
and Leahy, City Administrator Cushing, City Attorney DiJulio,
Public Works Director Wickstrom, Planning Director Harris and
Finance Director McCarthy. Also present: City Treasurer Drotz.
It was determined that proper legal notice for the special meet-
ing had been given and that the purpose of the meeting was to
fill the vacant position on the Kent City Council. B . JOHNSON
MOVED for an executive session to be held, Bailey seconded.
Motion carried.
The Council reconvened at 9 : 25 p.m. and B. JOHNSON MOVED to
appoint Judith Woods to fill the vacant Council position. J.
Johnson seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
The special meeting was adjourned at 9 : 28 n.m.
