Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Idurker and Coup. cilmen B6undy, Boyker, Dunbar, Johnson and Leach. Minutes of the reguoar meeting of August 19 , last , read qnd sgprome approved as read. Police report and Fire Dept. Report for August presented and filed. Upon motion City Atty. v7as instructed to take the necessary Court action- to sell the property forclosed on in the proceedings just had. Mr. M. W. Morrill appeared before the Council on behalf of the Flack Estate(Lot 9 , Flk. 16 , w-C.I .Co .s First ' Add. ) , No action taken. .Upon motion the Mayor and Clerk was authorized to deed to ?SFr. Pat- ton the property under contract , lots 11 , 12 & 13 , Blk. 7 , 77.C.I .Co 's Fitst to Kent , if after e,-mlanition he is milling to accept such title as the City can give , and if not satisfied to give him back his check. Mr . Miller, of the Eiller Eng. Co. of Seattle , made a Dropesition tb the Council to survey the Transmission System of the City Water Supply, make a report and recomendations for he sum of $500.00 , the said amt. to be paid after results had been obtained. The p ronosition was , upon motion accepted. The following resolution , setting time for a hearing on the 'assmt. roll , for Local .Improvement Dist. No. 225, -wav, presented and adopted by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present . IT IS .RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT: That the 7th. day of October, 1929 , at the hour of 8 o 'clock p.m. , at the Council Chambers in the City Hall , at Kent , Washington, be and the same is fix- ed as the time and place for hearing on the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 225, for the improvement of certain streets in the City of Kent , Washington, by installing a system of street Lights. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to publish in the official newspaper of the City of Kent , notice thereof as required by law and the ordinances of the said City. The Police Committee was instructed to act vrith the School Author- ities in seclecting school crossings and having them policed. The Street Committee were , upon motion , given porwr to act in the matter of providing a road for the people of Titus street east to get in their fuel. ORDINANCE NO. 589 , regulating parking in the City of Kent , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present .
