Kent , Plashinton , April 15 , 1929.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor 1,Turker and Coun-
cilmen Roundy, Boucher , Coleman , Konschot , Overlock and Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of April 1 , last , read and approved.
Clerks report and the Budget report for the month of March ras
presented and filed.
Proposed agreement on party wall between Shaffer and the City was
read and refered to the Building Committee for report next meeting.
Police and License Committee reported recomending that a License
for Card Room be not granted at 205^ No. Central , and after the reading _
of a petition of the residents and four resolutions from Churches ag-
ainst the same the license was unanimously refused.
The City Atty. was directed to notify Mr. Krauer to pay his rent
to the City and the matter of the completion of the drainage ditch at
Willis and Naden, was refered to the Drainage Committee..
The apointment of J. A. Anderson to the Fire Dent . was , upon motion
confirmed.

The claim of the Central Service Station was ordered returned for
corection, as not being according to contract .
Matter of sawdust on Central Avenue was refered to the Street Com-
mittee for investigation and report.
