Minutes of the meeting of March 19th, read and approved.
Rbport of Treasurer and Police , .read anid filed.
The Clerk being absent 'on account of sicknese ,themayor with
the consent of the Council appointed Councilman Boundy to act as
Clerk -Pro Tem.
The City Attorney reported in regard to the property sold to..
J. H.hbach,lote 18 and 99 Block 7 W.C.I .lst addtion, On motion the
following resolution was adopted:
IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Kent , that
the Mayor and City Clerk be ,andthey are hereby authorized to execute
and deliver to L.Harvey Leach,a deed of conveyance of the city of
Kent to Lots 18 anal 19 Block 7 W.C .I .lst addition to Kent conveying
to the grantee the interest of the city of Kent to said property upon k
the payment of Fifty Dollars,
The City Attorney reported the sale of Lot 3 Block 3 North Park
addition for the full amount of county taxes and assessments,andthat
-there was due King County for general taxes on said property the sum
of $18.05 , a warrant was ordered to be issued to County Treasurer ins+
paymennof sarrf.,and the following resolution was adopted.
IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of city of Kent ,that the
Mayor andCity Clerk be andthey are hereby authorized and empowered
to execute and deliver to J.H.Staples ,a deed of conveyance to Lot
3 Block 3 North Park addition to Kent ,upon the payment of $164.92
which amount includes all the assessments against said property and
the county taxes. and that a warrant be issued to the Treasurer of
King County for $18.05 in full of the taxes .
The City Attorney was instructed to investigate arud report as
to ordinance for the control of bill boards an private property in
the city.
The report of Fire Department was XnKS presented and filed.
The Park Board presented the ma6ter of the purchase of the
Wickstrom property for Park purpees ,,and on motion it was voted that
a warrant be issued to the County Treasurer for $169.27 on deliv--
ePy of the Treasurers deed for the same .
On motion it was voted that a 4 inch pipe be laid on
street from Mrs -Collins place approximately 250 feet east ,under the
supervision of the engineer.
