Kent , Washington , February 6 , 1928.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Murker and Coun-
cilmen Boundy , Konschot , VanHoosen and Wooden.
Minutes ,of Regular meeting of January 16 , last , and Special meeting
of January. 23d. , last , read and approved.
Clerks report , Police report and Health Officers report for January
presented .and filed.
A resolution from the Womens Improvement Club , requesting chafes
for the Council Chamber , was read by Mrs . Eastes , and refered back
for investigation and prices .
Upon request of the Park. Board , a motion was made , seconded and
carried , authorizing the City Attorney to request the County Commis-
sioners to. put the "Old Calhoun Gravel Pitt and the land that goes
with it ,up. for sale , so that it can be baught by the City for park
purposes .

to Kent , wp,s refered to the Street Committee for investigation.
Ordinance No. 569., authorizing bond issue for District No . 221 ,
was read apd upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried
by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present .
