Kent, Washington, December 19, 1927.
Regular meeting of the City Council; presnet Mayor Murker and
Councilmen Boundy, Boucher, Coleman, Konschot, Overlock, VanHoosen
and Wooden.
Minutes of the meeting of December 5th. read and approved.
Treasurers,Report and the Budget Report for the month of November
Presented and filed.
St. Com. reported on crossing at State and Gowe, recomending that
it be not put in, report adopted.
Lighting Com: recomended that a change be made on Cent. Ave. to
more lights and less watage.
Letter re" from C. P. Jensen, making a claim fov $100.00 for R.
Of W. for road and the same was refered to the St. Com._ for investiga-
tion and report..
Park Board made a proposition to the Council to purchase land in
the canyon for,•a Park, and the following Committee was apointed to
act with the Park Board, the"Committee and the Board to have authority
to close up any deals for land in the canyon, to be used for park purp-
oses.
