for August , presented and filed.

-A protest was/filed by property owners on Central Avenue against
the proposed paving on the said street , between Smith street and
Meeker Avenue .
Ordinance No. 564, adopting the budget for the year 1928 , and
Ordinance No . 565, .fixing the Tax Levy for the year 1928 , and Ordi-
nance No. 566 , providing for the improvement of Central Avenue by
paving, were each read and uppn motion each one was .placed -upon itt
final passage -and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Coun-
c•i lmen present .
