Clerks report , Budget report , Health Officers report and Police report for August and the Treas . report for July presented and filed. ATatter of a drain pipe on Cent . Ave-. So . , by Engstroms , refered to the Drainage and Selvage Commeetty , for' investigation. Comun-ications -,read from the Co. Conmissionars. and the Fire De . t , request �of the Fire Dept..for another man , in place of one resigned , granted.. Ordinance No . 562, providing for the issuing of bonds , Dist. No. 217 read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present . Petition for paving on Cent . Avenue, from Meeker street to Smith St. presented and filed , and the following RESOLUTION, declaring intention to make the improvement petioned for was adopted as follov7s: IT IS RESOLVEDby the City Council of the City of Kent , in King Co. , Washin-ton, that it do and it does hereby declare its intention of Imp- roving Central Avenue between Smith and Mee„ a curb Line on each side of Central er streets by Establishing the property line , and erictingasixv inch , curb thereon, excceand eight feet stain from such places as may be left open for driveways , and then paving the stri on each side of the present paved hi hw aylof on each side to the curb as established , from exceptesuchtpartsnastare p already paved, and doing such other work as, may be necessaryion therevrith, all in conection with plans andspecif. icationsltocbnect- Prepared by the City Engineer.
