Regular meeting of. the City Council; present Councilmen Boundy ,
Boucher , Coleman, Overlock, VanHoosen and 11,'ooden. Councilman Boundy
1ayor Pro Terri presiding. Vayor Viurker coming in later.
Yinutes of the meeting of Jdm July 18th. last , read and approved
Treasurers report and the budget report for June and. the Police
report for July, presented and filed.
Upon motion the Contractor was authorized to proceed v,,ith the
work d)n' lateral sewer on Nest IT.eeker Street , Dist . 218.
Va.ter 'of the dangerous condition of several buildings v-as , upon
motion , refered to ' the' Building Committee for investigation.
City Engineer reported on the• condition of the water pipe line ,
in c•riting; and the same was filed.
Ordinance No* rho , apprbving assessment roll for Dist . No. 217 ,
was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried
by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen -present.
Ordinance Yo. 561 , requiring the Treasurer to make certificate
of Del . Assessments , was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unanimous v6te of* all of the. Councilmen
present.
An Ordinance , providing for the improvement of Central Avenue ,
by paving, Dist . No. 220 , was read and upon motion ]placed upon its
final passage and last by the unanimous vote of all of the Cotincil-
men presnet .
Reports of the Health Officer and the Fire Dept . was presented
and filed.
