Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Murker and Coun- cilmen Boundy , Coleman, K"_onschot , Overlock and VanHoosen. Minutes of June 6th. , last , read and approved. Treasurers report and the Budget report for May read and filed. Finance Com. reported progress on sale of the Comunity Center Bui- lding and the matter' of sale was refered back to the Committee , with pourer to act . Upon motion the Chief of Police was changed from the night shift to day shift . RESOLUTION TJO. 220 , 'providing for the improvement of Central Ave . by paving was read and adopted as follows: It is resolved by ,the City Council of the City of Kent , in King County , State of 17ashirr ton, that it do and it does hereby declare its intention of improving Central Avenue from Smith to Titus Streets , By establishing a curb line on each side of Central Avenue , and eight feet distant* from the property line , and erecting a six inch concrete curbe thereon, execpt in such places as may be left open for drive- way; and then paving the strip on eazh side of the present paved high- way on Central Avenue from the center line thereof on each side of the curb , as established , except such parts as are already paved , and doing such other work in correction therewith as may be necessary, all in accordance v.-ith" plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer. That all persons rho may desire to object to the said improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamberw in the City Hall , in the City of Kent , at 8 o'clock p.m. , on the lAth. day of July, 1927, which time and place is hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said improvement , and all objections thereto , anif for determining the method for the payment for said improvement. That the City Clerk is directed to submit to the City Council at or prior to said date , all data and information required by law to be so submitted . That the cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed againsed the property liable therefor as provided by law. Matter of disposing of some securities and raising money for the P •R•V%Fund was upon motion refered to the Finance Committee , with power to act . CLAIMS READ ANE ALLOVED AS FOLLOWS: L. E.
