Kent , Washington, August 16th. 1926.
Regular•meeting' of the City Council; present RAyor Berlin and Coun-
cilmen Boundy, Boucher, Coleman, Konschot , Overlock and Wooden.
:iinutes of August 2nd. read and approvers.
Clerks report and the Treasurers report for the month of July was
presented and filed.
Upon motion it was decided that the City would exchange lot 22, in
block 9 , of W.C.I.Cos.First Addition, for lot 20, in the same block,
provided that the Gonnason Brothers would move the building and the
shrubry from lot 22 to lot 20 , in a manner satisfactory to the City
Engineer.

Finance Committee reported that they had succeeded in selling the
securties , held by the P.R.W.Fund, at a good price.
The Clerk was instructed to issue a call for bids for the laying
cast iron mains under Meeker, First and Railroad Avenues , to be open-
ed September 7, next.
Upon motion the Clerk was instructed to buy 3 complete beds for
the Fite Department.
