Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Berlin and Councilmen Boundy , Boucher, Coleman , Konschot , Iffarsh and Overlock. Minutes of the meeting of, March 15th, read and approved. Clerks re ort and the Police report for march and the Treasurers report for Feb. presented and filed. Petition from residents on the East Hill , asking for water relids before the hot weather , was read and refered to the tiVater Committee . A Tarrant for $112.54 was ordered drawn in favor of the City Atty. for the purpose of buying lots to be sold by the County, for taxes and to protect the interests of the City. The City Attorney was directed to notify the Rasmussen Garage peo- ple to clean up Second Avenue , between Meeker Street and Harrison Street and to keep the same cleaned up. Chief of -Police was instructed to procure a set of License RecordS� the City to .pay $10.00 of the costs , which amount vtas ordered paid. The Clerk was directed to discount the Collins bill $30.00 , on account of broken water pipe. Upon motion the Sal. of the Chief of Police was placed at $150.0 6 .per. month, begining the First of April . The Mayor, upon motion, was authorized. to furnish a truck and man for clean up day. Upon motion the Council authorized the purchase of a new Chev. truck, with a dump body and closed cab.
