Minutes of October 190 last , read and approved, as read. Police report , for the month of October, presented and filed. Light Committee receou,ended a St. Light at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Pioneer Street . and upon motion that same ordered in. t Police & License Committee recomended the transfer of the license J. S. Herity to C. A. Johnson, as requested, and upon motion the same was grented. Vooved by Councilman Overlock and Seconded by Councilman Marsh that all bids on the Fire Truck and Pumper be- rejected, the motion was lost by the following vote Councilmen Overlock, Coleman and Marsh voting "Aye" and Councilmen Boundy, Boucher, Konschot and Wooden voting "Na" . A comanication was read from the Fire Dept. recomending the purch- ase of a Howard Cooper Truck W41 signed by the entire membership of the Deaprtment. It was moved by Councilman Overlock and Seconded by Councilman Coleman that the City purchase a. G.M.C. Fire - Truck, which motion was lost by the following vote , Councilman Overlock, Coleman and Marsh vot- ing "Aye" , and Councilmen Boundy, Boucher , Konschot and Wooden voting "Na tt . It was moved by Councilman Boucher and Seconded by Councilman Boun- dy that the City Purchase a Howard-Cooper Fire Truck, at a price of $5500.00 , they ,to take the Street Wagon for $$500.00 , as proposed, the motion was carried by the following vote , Councilmen Boundy, Boucher, Konschot , 'Marsh and Wooden voting "Aye" and Councilmen Coleman and Over- lock voting "Nall . Upon motion the Mayor and Clerk was authorized to sign a contract for the Howard-Cooper, when the specifications had been checked up by the Fire Committee and members of the Council . A comunication from the Easthill Water Co. was read and upon mot- ion laid on the table . Improvement Ordinance No , 548 , establishing a Loeal/District General Fund, was read and placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Council present . Crow as a member on the library Board, to fill a, vacancy , which, apointmnet was upon motion approved. Upon motion the Mayor apointed the following Committee to inves- tigate the erewig pest . Councilmen Wooden, . Boundy and Marsh. - Upon motion the, Clerk was instructed to close the deal for the two fractions of land around the springs , it being the balance - of 'two forty acre tracts , about 72 acres , at a price not to exceed $1200.00. No ' further business appearing the Meeting, upon motion, dd then adjurn. City Clerk. l
