Kent , Washington, March 16, 1925.
Regular meeting of the .Council; present Mayor Leppert and Councilmen
Hallock, Boundy, Murker, Marsh, Moore and Woodley. Councilman Morris
coming in later: I
Records of the meeting of March 2nd. read and approved.

Clerks report for 'the month of February read and filed.
Mr. Leeper, for the Finance Committee , reported progress on the Del .
Assessments.
Mr. Guiberson, the Right-of-Way Agent , reported the completion of the
right-of-way on the Black Diamond Road.
The City Attorney was instructed to procure a confirmation of our
easement , for water line , on the Black Diamond Road , where the cities
pipe line follows the south side of 'the road; and the deeds to the right-
of- way were ordered to be recorded,
Comunication from the IT. P. Railroad , in reguard to drainage in the
notth part 'of the City , was read and filed.
Petition for a sewer district on the east hill , including parts of
blocks 1 ,2 ;3 & 4, in Clarks 'First Add. and blocks 2 & 3 , in Clarks Sec.
Addition, was read and action defered.
Ordinance No. 542 , providing for the issue of-$5000.00 of Gen City
Bonds for Fire Aparatus , was read and upon motion placed upon its final
passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen pres-
ent .

Upon motion the Fire Dept . was allowed to dispose of the old Chemical
tanks , the -money to be used for Fire Dept . purposes.
