Regular meeting of the City Council , held in the Council Chambers on the above date , present Uayor Leppert and. Councilmen Boundy, Murker, Marsh, and Woodley; Councilmen Hallock and Moore coming in later. Minutes of the meeting of January 10/ read and approved as read. Library report for the year 1924 and Police report and Supt. repo ort for month of Januaay, presented and filed. Upon recomeridation of the Water Committee and upon motion of Coun cilman rfurker, it was decided to grant a 15 year franchise to the Easthill Water Co. , to build. .a tank on the city property, at the large reservoir , and to drill a well , if at any time the city water supply should fail . Petition for Fire Plug on east side of the East Highway , near the south ,city limits was read and refered to the 77ater Committee for investigation. Ordinance No . 541 , submittin to the voters of the city, at the March loth. election, a proposition for a $5000.00 bond issue , to purchase additional Fire Appuratus , was read and upon motion plac- ed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the councilmen present. Election Boards for the various precincts , for the February loth election, were apointed as follows: PRECINCT N0. ONE: M.. P.. Hardy Inspector; Ethel AT. Crow and Eva M. Hatt Judges. PRECINCT No. M: THREE: Geo. M. Bear Inspector; Ella Davies and' Allice Taylor Judges. PRECINCT NO. - Two: C.B.Cook Inspector; Hattie McAnnally and Irene Randal Judges. PRECINCT NO.
