Kent , Waahington, December 15, 1924.
Regular.meeting of the Council; present Mayor Leppert and Coun-
cilmen Boundy, Hallock, Murker, Marsh, Morris , Moore Ane Woodley.
Minutes of the meeting of December 3 , read and approved.
:Budget report and the report of the Clerk and St. Supt . , for
the month of November , read and filed.
Police and License Committee reported progress on jail bunks ,
Committee continued with power to act.
Upon motion of Councilman Hallock a Drainage L. I. Dist . was
ordered started from Third to Fourth, on Gowe and from Gowe to
Shinn on XXIXX* Fourth.
Upon motion of Councilman Moore the St. Supt. was directed to
open a drain on Gowe , from Third. to Fourth, at once , to give the
water a chance to drain from the city scales also to put in tem-
poary crossings over the same where needed, for private use.
Upon motion of Councilman Boundy the drain at intersection of
Central and Gowe was ordered conected to sewer.
After some some discussion and inquiries as to prices and ect.
on fire aparatus the matter was refered to the Fire Committee for
further investigation.

Upon motion of Councilman Morris the Council went on record
as cor4ending the Police Fouree on their bravery and efficency in
the discharge of their duty , at the time of the bank holdup , on
Friday., the 5th. of December, last.
No. further business appearing, the meeting, upon motion, did
then adj urn.
