Kent , `fPashington, September 15, 1924.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Leppert and
Councilmen Murker, Moore , Marsh, Morris and Woodley ,` Councilman Hal-
lock coming in later.
Minutes of September 2 read and approved.
Clerks report and the Budget report for the month of August read
and filed.
Engineer reported on the matter of Garbage Dump and upon motion
of Councilman Murker same was refered to the Health, Sewage & Drainage
Committee.
Emergancy Ordinance No. 535, read and upon motion placed upon
its final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the
councilmen present.
Ordinance No. 536 , amending ordinance No. 197 , read and upon
motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the unanimous
vote of all of the Councilmen present , after a vote had been taken
A- to fix the manufactories rate %60 per cent . instead of %80 , as at
present .
Lighting Contract with the P. S. & P . Co. read and refered
to the Light Committee for investigation and report.
Upon motion of Councilman Marsh the Clerk was instructed to call
for bids on 1000 feet of hose , more or less , to be presented at the
next meeting. -

and settlement , for the confirmation of the Council , Upon motion of
Councilman Woodley the agreement was accepted.
Upon motion of Councilman Hallock the matter of dander street
signes was refered to the Street Committee , with power to act .
No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion, did then
act j urn.
