Regular meeting of the City Council; present Mayor Leppert and Councilmen Hallock, Murker, Marsh and Morris . Minute8, of August 18th. read and approved. Report of the Treasurer for June and July and the Police Dept . and Street Supt. for the month of July were read and filed. The Engineer reported a plan for the garbage disposal and- upon motion of Councilman Murker the matter was left to the City Eng. and Street Supt . , with power to act. r Emergency ordinance No. 535 and laid over to September 15th. for action on same. Library Sup. 9.00 Upon motion of Councilman Marsh an ordinance was ordered prepared changing -the metXer rates -for water to 4 cts. per 1000 cu. ft . after 30 ,000 cu. ft had been used. Buget for 1925 presented and ordered printed, Matter 'of a concrete crossing on the east side of Third at Crow was refered to the Street Committee for investigation. Police Judge A. C. Ewing having resigned his office and left the City, the Mayor apointed Mr. A. M. Reynolds Police Judge , to fill the vacancy, which apointment was approved by the unanimous vote of the Counclemen present. No further business appearing the meeting, upon motion, did then adjurn.
