Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Leppert and Coun. cilmen Boundy, Murker, Moore , Morris, Marsh. Minutes of June 16th. and June 20th. read and approved. Reports of the Clerk, Treasurer, Police Dept . and Supt. of Sts. and Water, for the month of June , read and filed. Mr. Chittenden spoke to the Council in reguard to water condi- tions at the cemetary and the matter was refered to the Water Com- mittee for investigation and report. Matter of compensation to Mrs. Fink for land taken for street refered to the City Attorney for investigation. Resolution No.` 216A, steting time for hearing on assessment roll , was read and adopted as follows; IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT: That the 4th. day of August , 1924, at thehour of 8 o' clock P.M. , at the Council Chambers in the City Hall , at Kent , Washington, be and the same is fixed as the time and place for hearing on the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No . 216 , for the improvement of certain streets by building sidewalks thereon. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to publish in the official newspaper of the City of Kent , notice thereof as requierd by law and the ordinances of the said City. Upon motion of Councilman Moore the Water Supt. was instructed to put on two move men for a coupple of weeks. No further business appearing the meeting did then adjurn. City Clerk.
