Kent , Washington, August 4, 1924.
Regular meeting of the City Council; present Councilmen Murker ,
Marsh, Moore , Morris and Yloodley. Mayor pro tem. , Murker , Presiding.
Minutes of July 21 , read and approved. .
Police .report , for the month of July, read and filed.
Health, Seviage & Drainage Committee reported, recomending the
old County Gravel Pit as a garbage dump .for the city, which recomen-
dation was adopted.
Ordinance No. 534, •approving the assessment roll for local imp-
rovement district No. 216 , was read and upon motion placed upon its
final passage and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the Council-
men present.

Upon motion of Councilman Woodley , concrete crossings were order-
ed put in at Second & Winner, Smith and State and at Third & Crow.
The Council received the thanks of the F. 0. Be for the use of
the streets for their last street dance , arlduested the same priv-
lage for Tuesday evening and in two weeks; Aich request , upon motion
of Councilman Woodley, was granted.
No Further business appearing the meeting , upon motion, did then
adjurn.
