Kent , Washington, June 16 , 1924.
Regular meeting of the Council; present Mayor Leppert and Coun-
cilmen Boundy, liurker , M4.rsh, Moore and Woodley.
Minutes of June 2 read and approved,
Budget report and the reports of the Clerk and Supt. for the Ito.
of May was read and filed.
Bids on the sidewalk improvement , Dist No. 216 , were opened and
read as follows: C. C. Wallace , $430.90; G. W. Hart , $2777 .00;
and C. R. Dunn, $2790.00. Upon motion of Councilman 7oodley, there
being only $13.00 between the lowest bid and the bid of Mr. Dunn,
the contract was awarded. to Mr. C. R. Dunn for $2790_.00 .
Upon motion of Councilman Woodley it was decided that the Street
Supt. should be the Inspector on the sidewalk contract just let..
CLAIMS WERE READ AND ALLONQED AS FOLLOWS:

Upon motion of Councilman Moore the matter of the purchase of
additional Fire Hose was reffered to the Fire Committee for inve.s-
tigation.and report.
Upon motion of Councilman Woo"dley the walk in front of the
City property, on Central Ave , wais ordered in.
Upon motion of Councilman Boundy a box for the safe keeping
of the supplies of the Police Judge was ordered, not to exceed
$5.00 in- price.
No further business appearing the meeting,_ upon motion, did
then adjurn.
