Minutes of April 7th. read and approned, after being corected
to read P. S. P. & ' L. Co . in place of P. S. E. Ry. Co .
City Treasurers report for the month of Vlarch read and filed.
Franchise Ordinance presented by the P.S.P.& L.Co. was ' read
discussed and laid over to the next meeting .for passage .
Park Board Lease to Mr. David E. Miner, was read for the appro-
val of the Council and upon motion accepted and the Mayor and Clerk
Vao authorized to sign the same .
Litght Committee reported on the Police signal and upon motion
was directed 't6 have a . signal li ;ht installed.
Ordinnnce No . 528, prohibiting the posting of notices , was read
and upon motion placed upon its final passage and carried by the
unanimous vote of all of the Councilmen present .
Ordinance Ho . 529 , prohibiting the sale of cigarette and toba_co
to minors , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage
and carried by the unanimous vote of all of the councilmen present .
Ordinance No. 530 , establi hinS a department of streets and
water , was read and upon motion placed upon its final passage and
carried by the unanimous vote of all of the councilemn present.
Petition signed by 25 residents requesting the passage of an or-
dinance prohobiting the breeding of cows and the berth of calves in
public , was 'read and refered to the City Attorney to have an ordi-
nance prepared for the next meeting.
